POST 2: BEST HOLIDAYS

 

I remember that one of the best holidays I have ever had was in 2019, when only my grandmother and I went to Valdivia for two weeks. I do not forget how fun and cozy that place felt, the homemade food, the smell of firewood, the rain, especially all those new places that they showed me.

We wanted to make the most of those days that we would spend, that's why every day we enjoyed an activity, for example, going to the "Entrelagos" chocolate shop and eating their traditional churros with chocolate sauce or their handcrafted ice cream glasses, I also attended a cold ceramic workshop at the Fair in Parque Saval.

In the evening, for the first time since I came of age, my grandmother and my aunt took me to the Casino in the city, I did not enjoy it so much in the games, but then we went to eat something in one of the nearby restaurants.

Besides everything, I was able to spend time with cousins ​​and relatives that I had not seen in a long time. They treated me with great affection from the moment they saw me, they accompanied me to the tourist shops, they gave me advice and they told me about my grandmother's old experiences, not to say that they did not waste the opportunity to fill me with sweets and food.

I learned a lot about Valdivia and I think I connected a lot with the city that saw the birth and growth of most of my family, including my mother and grandmother. I have always known that southern families are numerous and loving, and now I am able to experience it on my own. That was one of the best holidays and one of the best experiences.
