POST 8: ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

 My first experience learning English at university, it is not far from my years at school, the methodologies are similar in the tasks assigned to us, since in those years they did writing work for me. In my opinion, I need to improve my pronunciation and fluency in English, as there have been no occasions in which I have seen the need to use it, taking the opportunity to practice and evaluate my progress. However, to improve this, I consider a solution to start conversations with my sister, in addition to listening to audio books and repeating the content until exhaustion. During this semester, having to write blogs was interesting to me, since we have to express our opinions, experiences and ideas on a topic, which is quite personal and now that we have been in online mode, the use of blogs is the way to get to know our classmates when at least they write about themselves. POST 7: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 Hi Well, first I have to explain where and what degree I'm studying. Currently, I am a second year architecture student at the University of Chile. The career has a length of 11 semesters, corresponding to five and a half years. The degree program consists of two types of approaches: on one side, we have a theoretical aspect based on the history of architecture, urban planning, mathematical aspects, among other branches, but basically this approach covers information topics. On the other hand, we also have a workshop, which is more practical, in other words, you learn by creating the spaces in a format. From all the experience I have had in these 4 semesters, I would say that some changes that could be made are linked to the time allocated to the workshop, as well as adding branches on design strategies and urban environment. POST 6: FOOD

 HI, Today I am going to talk about a topic that surely is of interest to all of you, the favorite food. For some, mealtime is the most anticipated time of the day and it becomes even better when the dish is something you like. In my case, my favorite food is rice, which itself is considered more of a side dish, but for me, any food that has rice is my favorite. It can be rice with meat, rice with egg, rice with chicken, etc. Even in desserts I like it. The reason why I like this carbohydrate is because it is easy to combine with any protein, so choosing the next meal does not become so tedious, in addition, it can be prepared in different ways such as: curry, adding corn, chaufa, grained or not. In my house it is consumed frequently, at least 3 times a week at lunch, because in my house I do not eat dinner. POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

 In the future I would like to be working in my own office in an architecture studio, with an architecture degree and a master's degree in interior design, since I enjoy choosing the colors of the walls, the furniture and more. Focusing my time drawing plans and assembling models. I would like to attend various conferences on architecture or urban design, there is always something new to learn and what better if you learn from a professional on the subject. As I will be working behind a desk this would be considered a indoor job but since creating requires inspiration I would like to be able to travel a lot for work. Visit places famous for their structures, see landscapes full of colors, shapes and depths. Regarding salary, my opinion is that since I do not have much knowledge of the work area at the moment, I hope to start being able to earn enough to pay the basic expenses of an apartment, perhaps a car and be able to indulge myself from time to time. POST 4: MUSICIAN

  I'm the type of person who doesn't have a favorite style when it comes to music, so if I like a song, I'll listen to it regardless of genre. Within my list of songs you could find Latin music, jazz, classical, pop, ballads and even Asian music such as anime or kpop. I think one of my favorite styles of music is pop. And although pop is commonly associated with songs by American artists, my favorite pop musical group is a quintet of girls from Colombia. At first the group was called "Disney princesses" by the media. Then the five members came up with a new and feminine name to identify them, and after many attempts, they were left with the name "Ventino". They began by recording a video for YouTube in which they performed some songs from the Disney movies. I like them because their voices are soft and elegant. POST 3: MOVIES AND/OR SERIES THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND

 HI Today I´m going to talk about my favorite movies or series.  The name of the series is Grey´s Anatomy.  The title is an allusion to Grey's Anatomy, a classic textbook on human anatomy first published in 1858 in London and written by Henry Gray. It is produced by Shonda Rhimes in association with The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios. The original cast consisted of nine outstanding actors, which are: Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, T. R. My Biography

 My name is Catalina Rodríguez, I was born on April, 20th, 2001 in Santiago, Chile. I have a twin sister whose name is Tania Rodríguez. I live with my grandma and my sister. I started going to  Antilhue school at the age of 4 until I was 17. During that time I become interested in cheerleaders and art, I participated in many championships and performances as well as story and drawing contests. In my life I have done many activities such as figure skating, modeling, volleyball, karate, swimming and dancing. At those years it looked like everything was possible, I used to be very energetic but as I got older, doing it all become hard to handle.
