POST 5: MY FUTURE JOB

 In the future I would like to be working in my own office in an architecture studio, with an architecture degree and a master's degree in interior design, since I enjoy choosing the colors of the walls, the furniture and more. Focusing my time drawing plans and assembling models. I would like to attend various conferences on architecture or urban design, there is always something new to learn and what better if you learn from a professional on the subject.


As I will be working behind a desk this would be considered a indoor job but since creating requires inspiration I would like to be able to travel a lot for work. Visit places famous for their structures, see landscapes full of colors, shapes and depths.

Regarding salary, my opinion is that since I do not have much knowledge of the work area at the moment, I hope to start being able to earn enough to pay the basic expenses of an apartment, perhaps a car and be able to indulge myself from time to time.

Anyway, I'm still not sure if this will be my path, maybe tomorrow I will opt for cultural heritage or sustainable design. There is still enough time to decide and when it comes to something as delicate as deciding my future, it is something that I have to think carefully. Maybe I want to adopt a dog and that prevents me from traveling often, leaving me working from here, I don't know, but I think that if I had to choose now, this would be my answer.

  Hello, today is turn of our third blog! I hope you like it. As a millennial person I am proud to say... that technology is my worst enemy! my skills regarding technology are a nightmare that day by day I fight to improve. Why did I choose my major?

HI, Welcome to my second blog. To be honest, my path towards deciding to study architecture was not easy. My first dream as a child was to be a dentist but that dream gradually faded to a point where I didn´t know what I would do in the future or what I wanted, so I just let the days go by.  One day while I was waiting for my sister to be ready, I  saw an architecture magazine in the hairdresser,  i t was just right in front of me so I took it, looked at it and made up my mind,  from that moment I wanted to study that carrer but out of all expectation and maybe out of fear and insecurity, I entered the university to study computer science, I must have been crazy or just lost because I remember that I did not want to disappoint anyone, so I kept going for a year before I gave up, I wanted to study architecture so much that one day I threw it all away and said I would try and that whatever had to happen would happen.  I don´t regret what I did, many people have to...

A Photo and a story

 Hello, today´s blog topic is about a meingful photo and the story behind it!! This is my favorite photo. This is one of the many ways I remember my grandfather, he was not a man who let others see his feelings, many described him as serious or cold but for me he was the only father figure that me and my sister had. He did not smile or laugh much but his actions and the occasional hug said more than a thousand words : he loved us.  He worked hard and his greatest treasure was his family, he did not refuse to give help to those who needed it, photos like these bring to mind everything he did in his life. A disease took him a few years ago but we remember him fondly, I still hear stories of his travels around the world to countries like Australia, Jerusalem, USA and many others.
