POST 3: MOVIES AND/OR SERIES THAT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND

Today I´m going to talk about my favorite movies or series. 

The name of the series is Grey´s Anatomy. The title is an allusion to Grey's Anatomy, a classic textbook on human anatomy first published in 1858 in London and written by Henry Gray. It is produced by Shonda Rhimes in association with The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios. The original cast consisted of nine outstanding actors, which are: Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, T. R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey. The cast has undergone major changes throughout its broadcast.


"Grey´s Anatomy" is a medical based drama centered around Meredith Grey, the daughter of a renowned general surgeon named Ellis Grey, after being accepted into the residency program at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital. During her time as a resident, Grey works alongside Drs. Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, Alex Karev, and George O'Malley, who struggle to balance their personal lives with hectic work and training schedules.



I am obsessed with surgical dramas, from Dr House to New Amsterdam. There is something fascinating in the medical world, through the series you see things that you would never have imagined, for example that doctors talk about their boyfriends or girlfriends or their day while they are opening some part of someone's body.

it's on Netflix so if you like the plot, you have to go and watch it!

Why did I choose my major?

HI, Welcome to my second blog. To be honest, my path towards deciding to study architecture was not easy. My first dream as a child was to be a dentist but that dream gradually faded to a point where I didn´t know what I would do in the future or what I wanted, so I just let the days go by.  One day while I was waiting for my sister to be ready, I  saw an architecture magazine in the hairdresser,  i t was just right in front of me so I took it, looked at it and made up my mind,  from that moment I wanted to study that carrer but out of all expectation and maybe out of fear and insecurity, I entered the university to study computer science, I must have been crazy or just lost because I remember that I did not want to disappoint anyone, so I kept going for a year before I gave up, I wanted to study architecture so much that one day I threw it all away and said I would try and that whatever had to happen would happen.  I don´t regret what I did, many people have to...

A Photo and a story

 Hello, today´s blog topic is about a meingful photo and the story behind it!! This is my favorite photo. This is one of the many ways I remember my grandfather, he was not a man who let others see his feelings, many described him as serious or cold but for me he was the only father figure that me and my sister had. He did not smile or laugh much but his actions and the occasional hug said more than a thousand words : he loved us.  He worked hard and his greatest treasure was his family, he did not refuse to give help to those who needed it, photos like these bring to mind everything he did in his life. A disease took him a few years ago but we remember him fondly, I still hear stories of his travels around the world to countries like Australia, Jerusalem, USA and many others.
